To Use Or Not To Use.Technology can have a negative impact on one's life, it can prevent you from being social with others. Depending on the person's lifestyle, some may live a boring life where they don't do much which leads to misuse of technology and they slip into a “tech bubble” and can prevent them from being social with the outside world. On the other hand someone who lives a busy life that often has an agenda can use technology and social media to their advantage by communicating to others fast that may be far away. This is an example of a positive impact technology has on life. Personally i live a semi busy life, sometimes i'll be really busy and use social media to my advantage and other times i'll have nothing on my plate. I often use skype to video chat with my father who lives in Chicago. Which I don't get to see very often. I also waste my time on video games and watching youtube. I think if you can use technology in a healthy way it shouldn't be a problem.

This video shows the life style of a small time banana farmer, it also shows the point of view of the transnational corporations. Banana WarsThe majority of the bananas sold in Canada are grown on giant plantations and are owned by big corporations like Chiquita, Dole, Del Monte. This allows those corporations to take advantage of economies of scale. They control the prices and out sell the small farmers. You can learn a lot about the impact of globalization from Banana Wars the economy, ecological impact, as well as political and social implications, both good and bad. Yet we seem to have a lot more to learn as today Banana wars continue to exemplify the downside of a globalized economic system because Transnational Corporations are able to ignore that their South American employees who are basically paid slaves. Most employees are contract workers, not employees of the companies, like Chiquita, and are unprotected. Transnational companies say that all of their employees are unionized, but they mostly have contractors. Did you know that every time you buy bananas the plantation owners gets 10% ,and the worker who harvested that banana gets only 1% of total profits. That means there is almost 90% of the money made off those bananas given to corporate heads which is a sign of corruption. One of the only ways to improve the quality of life of these workers At the moment, there are a lot of bananas at a low price. Now, what needs to happen is the cost must go up while demand as well as units produced must stay the same. Even if it were just a 25% price hike. this would result in a wage increase of almost $65 per week per worker. Enough to make life substantially better. On a global scale, are we really that impacted by a 25% increase in the price of bananas? Move Along By: All-American RejectsThis Song is telling people to stop thinking about the past and live in the future and stay strong and "Move Along" I think this song speaks to the teenage population.
This song helps e get over my problems and get through hard times. 5/5 stars Patrick Fox says he wants "to destroy" his ex-wife with an online campaign from his Burnaby, B.C., home.
He created a website in her name full of vulgar content and demeaning images and purporting to describe details of her sex life. He also posted about her partners, friends and mother — updating the site dozens of times since 2014. Desiree Capuano, who lives near Tucson, Ariz., with the couple's son, told CBC News a co-worker first alerted her to the site, after the URL was emailed to all of her contacts on the business social network LinkedIn. The site calls her a drug addict, a child abuser and a white supremacist. She says it has harmed her ability to find work. A "completely enraged and mortified" Capuano has fought to get the site shut down, appealing to U.S. and Canadian police and the internet provider to help and asking Fox to let go of what she calls his "sick fixation." "There has got to be a way to take that down," Capuano said. "He told me once that his ultimate goal was to make me commit suicide. I won't let him win." '[I promised] I'd devote the rest of my life to doing everything I could, legally of course, to ruin her life and destroy her.'–Patrick Fox (a.k.a. Richard Riess)Experts say there are a growing number of victims of online revenge attacks, where damaging intimate and personal content is posted. Fox is defiant. He told CBC News nothing short of Capuano's death or "when she is destitute and homeless" will prompt him to take down the site. "She ruined both of our lives," said Fox, who blames Capuano for taking his son and having him deported to Canada. This man is a needs mental help and should be ban from using social media. I feel sorry for this woman and her family. She also needs help from addiction services and needs to clean up her act. Question: Sometimes it is very clear if a relationship is healthy or unhealthy. Sometimes it can be harder to tell or we may not be able to clearly see our own relationships. Sometimes everything looks great from the outside, from social media, etc but this is not an accurate reflection of what actually happens. Healthy and unhealthy relationships are discussed a lot more now than they were in the past but the media still portrays unhealthy in a positive light sometimes. "As much as we love ‘em, a lot of our favorite movies, songs, video games, etc. are failing miserably when it comes to depicting relationships in a realistic and healthy way. There’s a widespread misconception in media that drama = passion and possessiveness = caring, and while those ideas may look romantic on the big screen, in the real world they are anything but. Click Me 8. Stop being negative. “Needing to talk badly about others indicates low self-esteem. That means, 'I feel so low that instead of picking myself up I have to cut others down,'” the Pope said. “Letting go of negative things quickly is healthy.” If You're negative in your life you will for sure crash and burn and destroy friendships and relationships and will also hurt yourself. I live my life looking at things positively and go about things with a open mind, if I didn't I wouldn't be the person I am today and wouldn't try new things like basketball if I didn't think positively toward basketball my team probably wouldn't of won the tournament last year.
Personally I don't practice or follow the religion world. I'm Atheist and have no reason to be faithful to something that I don't believe in. But For if i were to look at this question in a catholic point of view. There are many instances that would make you become unfaithful for example you could be surrounded by people that are non-believers and could corrupt and lead you away from you're religion. also it may be difficult to keep your faith when your life is very busy.
Personally I think that humans are their own person and they can make their own decisions regardless of some guy floating in the clouds. Therefore we can choose to do good or bad, but really who is the one to decide what is good or bad? I guess it all depends on Religion, Personal Issues, Mental Health, and the person's moral compass. If it is someones belief to kill and eat a animal and publicly its wrong to do so I wonder why this would be considering the catholic church is against gays(or other sexual orientation), so why exclude other religions just because they are a minority?
Donating My Beautiful Hair To Cancer :)So the grade 9 leadership and the wonderful teacher mr. Allison suggested that we donate hair to cancer and raise money for us to do it. I raised 57$ and donated all my hair. My head is very cold now. Its slowly growing back. I think next year if we do something like this again ill shave my head again. I hope I made some boy or girl happy with all the hair I donated.
